After a 78nm journey we arrived in Bahia San Francisquito. Most of the day was spent motoring with a few hours flying our Monster Blue Parasailor spinnaker. Seas were mostly following but due to some west winds that blew last night, there was some cross swell for a few hours.
Now in the anchorage, we’re the only boat here. A trip to the sandy beach let foxy relieve herself… that and chasing shore birds to get some of her energy out.
We’re settling in for some Greek salad and last nights pizza. We’ll then watch a movie and get some well earned rest in this secluded, protected anchorage.
This is the first time we’ve been the only boat in an anchorage. As it seems, going north was the right decision even though we don’t have enough time to fully discover all of the northern Sea of Cortez.
Next stop, Bahia de las Animas and then Bahia Los Angeles and Isla Angel de la Garda.
