Check it out!
We complied video from our recent trip to Santa Catalina Island this July. We’re always happy when we can get our big blue a-sail flying.
This asymmetric spinnaker is huge and aptly named ‘Big Blue’. We had the boat up to 8.5 knots… although I’m sure there was a little current in there as well. We’ve been working on the video for some time once we figured out our editing software and the YouTube issues. We’re using a GoPro Session and PC based Cyberlink PowerDirector 14 video editing software. Suuuuper easy to use! Highly recommend.
Catalina is a great local trip. About 90nm each way. Some work upwind to get there but often a nice beam reach. The fun lies in flying downwind with our big blue asymmetric spinnaker pulling us home!
